The 6D ATB-2T Ascent is the definitive trail and e-bike helmet, purpose-built around one goal: the best brain protection available in a 3/4-coverage MTB helmet. The ATB-2T uses 6D's 4th-generation Omni-Directional Suspension™ (ODS) technology — the same patented system found in 6D's motocross helmets, adapted for trail and e-bike use. Two independent foam layers — an outer EPS liner and an inner multi-impact EPP liner with damping towers — are connected by elastomeric isolation dampers. This allows the inner liner to move in three dimensions on impact, reducing both linear and rotational acceleration forces. Independent testing shows it outperforms MIPS-based competitors across all impact velocity ranges.
The redesigned 3/4 shell delivers 7% weight reduction over its predecessor with a sleeker, more ventilated profile. Practical features include Fidlock™ magnetic closure, integrated sunglass dock, 3-position adjustable visor, and an Ionic+ antimicrobial comfort liner.

6D Helmets is an American premium helmet manufacturer specialising in Omni-Directional Suspension (ODS) technology for motocross and off-road applications. The ODS system uses dual-foam construction with elastomeric isolation dampers positioned between the inner and outer helmet shells, designed to manage both linear and rotational impact energy in a single integrated structure.
