VP Racing 622 is a fully synthetic DOT 4 racing brake fluid engineered for hard racing and hard braking — delivering one of the highest wet boiling points of any DOT 4 brake fluid on the market. Used by racing teams across motocross, supercross, road racing, and powersports, VP 622 provides the brake system stability and consistent pedal feel that competitive racing demands.
The primary performance advantage of VP 622 over standard DOT 4 brake fluids is its dramatically higher boiling point. The wet boiling point of 204°C (399°F) is significantly above the standard DOT 4 requirement of 155°C — this is the critical specification because brake fluid naturally absorbs moisture over time, and wet boiling point determines real-world fade resistance during extended braking or multiple heat cycles. The dry boiling point of 328°C (622°F) — the product's name is its temperature — ensures even fresh fluid performs at the extreme end of the performance range.
Higher boiling point directly translates to resistance to brake fade, vapour lock, and spongy pedal feel under extreme braking loads. Full synthetic formula maintains consistent viscosity across operating temperatures.

VP Racing Fuels is an American manufacturer of purpose-blended racing fuels established in 1975. VP produces fuel formulations covering 2-stroke and 4-stroke motocross engines, with ethanol-based and non-ethanol options available across multiple octane grades.
VP fuels are used at professional and amateur motocross events worldwide. Each formulation is developed for specific engine configurations,
compression ratios, and jetting requirements, with published specifications for octane rating, oxygen content, and Reid Vapour Pressure. VP Racing Fuels deliver consistent combustion characteristics batch to batch — a critical requirement for competition tuning where fuel variability affects engine mapping and jetting calibration.
