The ProX VM22/210 pilot jet is a direct replacement for the Mikuni VM22/210 round slide carburetor. The pilot jet controls fuel delivery at idle and low throttle - roughly 0 to 3/8 throttle opening. Riders swap jet sizes to correct idle richness or leanness caused by altitude, ambient temperature, or engine modifications.
Jets are machined from brass to OEM Mikuni tolerances and dimensions. Length is 13.5mm, thread outer diameter is 5mm, with 8 side bleed holes. ProX part numbers follow the 48.0XX format, corresponding directly to Mikuni OEM designation VM22/210-XX (example: ProX 48.040 = Mikuni VM22/210-40).
Made in Japan.
If the air screw needs more than two full turns out to reach a clean idle, the pilot jet is too lean - go up a size.
If less than one turn out, it is too rich - go down a size.
