The ART Racing 12" rear rim is the rear component of the big wheel conversion for the Cobra CX50 series. Machined from a solid billet of 7075 aerospace-grade aluminium, it replaces the stock 10" rear rim with a larger diameter that changes the bike's ride height, gearing effect, and traction profile.
The 12" diameter raises the rear axle height, increasing ground clearance and altering the overall geometry toward a more stable, planted feel — particularly on hard-pack and high-speed terrain. Combined with the 14" front, this becomes the standard big wheel setup for the CX50 platform.
Manufactured by ART Racing, backed by ALFA TEH's precision CNC facility. Race-tested in European junior motocross competition.
FITMENT
Fits Cobra CX50, CX50SR, and CX50FWE. Model years 2018 through 2027. Bolt-on compatible with stock hubs — no frame or swingarm modification required.

Q: Does the ART Racing 12" rim fit all Cobra CX50 variants?
A: Yes — it fits the Cobra CX50SR, and CX50FWE, model years 2018 through 2027. Bolt-on compatible with stock hubs. No
modification required.
Q: What tyre fits the 12" ART Racing Back rim?
A: Standard 12" front motocross tyres. Selection depends on track conditions and rider preference.
Q: Do I need to buy front and rear together?
A: The 14" front rim and 12" rear rim are sold separately. Both are needed to complete the big wheel conversion from the stock
12"/10" factory setup.
Q: What is 7075 aluminium?
A: 7075 is an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy used in aircraft structural components. Its tensile strength is significantly higher
than the more common 6061 alloy, making it better suited to the repeated impact loads of motocross riding.
Q: Is this a direct bolt-on or does it require hub changes?
A: Direct bolt-on. No hub, fork, or frame modification required on any CX50SR, or CX50FWE from 2018 onward.

Art of Racing designs and manufactures its own line of CNC-machined motocross components under the ART Racing Parts label. The manufacturing operation is backed by ALFA TEH, a precision CNC company with production experience in aerospace and demanding industrial sectors. Every ART Racing Parts component is designed, machined, and finished in Europe under one roof.
The first prototypes were developed in 2019 by a professional racer and technician working directly with the engineering team. Each design was tested in competition, refined through successive iterations, and not released until it performed in real racing conditions. ART Racing Parts components have contributed to race wins and championship results across European junior motocross competition.
The current product range includes CNC-machined anodised aluminium rear sprockets for Cobra CX50 and CX65, available in multiple tooth counts for gear ratio tuning and multiple anodised colour options. Additional components including triple clamps are produced to the same standard. ART Racing Parts are exclusively available through the Art of Racing dealer network.
