The 428NZ is D.I.D's top-spec non-sealed chain for motocross. Non O-ring means zero friction loss from seals and maximum power transfer to the rear wheel, which is exactly what you want on an 85cc bike where every horsepower counts.
The SDH pin treatment is what separates this chain from standard non-sealed chains. SDH stands for Super Dai Hard. D.I.D forms an extremely hard chromium-carbide layer on the surface of each pin while keeping the inner core soft. Hard surface resists wear. Soft core absorbs impact and shock. The result is a wear resistance index of 410, compared to 100 on a standard chain, and tensile strength 19% higher than a conventional chain.
Solid bushings and quad-riveted pins throughout. The Gold and Black finish is anodised, not painted.
